UAE: Study and work remotely tomorrow in these areas due to the weather

The UAE government issued a number of important decisions regarding studying and working in the country in light of the weather condition that the UAE witnessed during this week.

The Human Resources Department decided that tomorrow, Monday, February 12, 2024, will be remote work for all employees of departments, bodies and institutions in the Sharjah Government.

Except for jobs that require presence at the workplace

The Ministry of Human Resources of the Sharjah Government explained in its official statement that jobs that require presence at the workplace are excluded from this decision.

Transforming distance learning in Ras Al Khaimah schools tomorrow

Ras Al Khaimah Police also decided, through its account on the X platform (formerly Twitter), to transfer distance learning in public schools on Monday, February 12, 2024.

This was based on the report of the local Emergency, Crisis and Skills Team in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, in order to preserve the safety of the administrative and teaching staff and students.

Distance learning in all federal higher education facilities

The Ministry of Education decided that tomorrow, Monday, will be a distance learning day in all federal higher education institutions, taking into account the weather condition that the country is going through.

The Ministry of Education in the UAE also clarified that it grants private universities an assessment of the situation according to the regions and circumstances, taking into account the interests of students and study requirements.
